The computer froze in the middle of the installation and I had to restart. Now when I try to install, remove, or repair with the CD I get error telling me that there is a current installation suspended and that I must undo the changes made by that installation.
When I click yes it just presents me with the same error message over and over again. I run into the same loop when I try to uninstall the program through the control panel. I have tried to use the Microsoft Fixit tool, but it is not supported in W8. Any suggestions? I ran the "reset computer" tool from the boot options menu hold the shift key when restarting and that stopped the error message loop so that I could uninstall and then reinstall.

My word and excel stopped working for no reason, I have Microsoft Office Home and Student , I bought it after I bought my computer, it has worked for two years or so and isn't working now. I've tried to do this as well, doing the reinstall and the repair.
